Objectives

The Department of Geography aims to:-

Offer quality teaching and learning of Geography , to ensure over 98% graduation per cohort.
Undertake interdisciplinary research, transmit and disseminate findings in Geography and environment related studies.
Train and produce highly skilled and practically-oriented professionals who are innovative and creative in the various fields of Geography.
Establish academic linkages and collaboration with at least two leading universities and academic departments through joint projects, publications, and curriculum review annually
Empowering men and women with critical minds that are able to examine, analyse and find solutions contemporary and emerging issues related to Geography and other disciplines.
